Polymimetics Inc. is a biomimetic materials company developing a new class of lightweight, optically tuned, and structurally resilient composites for use in energy, aerospace, and sensing platforms. Our first product line explores scalable production of bio-inspired membranes and hydrogels designed for extreme environments and demanding photonic control.

But that’s only the start. Our long-term roadmap includes a suite of biologically informed materials targeting high-performance optical applications, deployable solar infrastructure, and next-generation sensing devices.

Polymimetics Inc. is preparing an NSF SBIR Phase I submission to demonstrate the feasibility of biologically informed materials in scalable industrial applications. We are currently seeking collaborative partners with expertise in structural biology, molecular dynamics, optics, and advanced materials fabrication.
